How An Author Makes You Feel Empathy In His Or Her Writing

"The last thing my father said to me before he was taken away was be strong my Malila" Parvana said.Today I'm going to write about how authors make me and other readers feel empathy for a character in a book. My three opinions on this topic are some reasons why authors do this, why empathy is so important to include in books and how an author makes you feel empathy.

Some reasons why the author does this is because they want to make the book interesting, they want to make you think about their writing and you reflect on it and maybe they want to be recognized as a strong writer. Some reasons for wanting their book to be interesting is because this might make you want to buy another one of their books. If you read the book they want you to enjoy it and want you to keep reading it. Another reason for them to do this is because empathy is good in books because it makes the book stand out. A book with feelings is a better read then another book that is made up of facts and details. An example of this is when Parvana has her father taken to prison by Taliban soldiers for no reason and I could feel her sadness.

Empathy is important for authors to add in their writing because if an author does this it will make the book so much more interesting. It will also make you want to donate money to the place or people that are in need and makes you reflect on these people or places. I feel empathy for Parvana and other Afghans when they have to carry water for their families. This is important for the author because if they are supporting the cause that they are writing about they're trying to get you to donate. There are also awards for creative writing so the author might be trying to win those awards.

How an author makes you feel empathy is by making their writing very descriptive, interesting and emotional. How they do this is by explaining the characters feelings and thoughts in their book. Empathy is when you feel sorry and badly for another person like Parvana in the Breadwinner. So another good way of putting empathy in a book is by adding quotes and sayings to the writhing So overall there are lots of ways to put empathy in a book.

Empathy is a great way to make your book interesting so whenever you are writing you should always try to add feelings and emotions to your book. This is why good writers are so great and this is why people want to keep reading their books.
